Spin the wheel to pick a random number

What Is a Random Number Wheel?

A random number wheel is a free online tool that picks a random number from a range by spinning an animated wheel. You set a Min and Max — or tap a preset like 1–10 or 1–100 — click Spin, and the wheel lands on one number at random. Every number in the range occupies an equal segment, so each has exactly the same chance of being chosen. No bias, no favorites.

Unlike a plain number generator that instantly prints a value, the Random Number Wheel shows every number in your range as a labeled segment and spins to one with a satisfying ease-out animation — great for classrooms, games, giveaways, and livestreams. Turn on No repeats to draw without replacement, like a lottery or bingo draw. Need a plain instant value instead? Use the random number generator. Everything runs in your browser — nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

How to Use the Random Number Wheel

  1. Set your range: Tap a preset — 1–6, 1–10, 1–20, 1–50, or 1–100 — or type your own Min and Max. The wheel holds up to 100 numbers.
  2. Turn on No repeats (optional): Draw without replacement — each drawn number is removed so you can work through the whole range with no duplicates.
  3. Spin: Click Spin the Wheel or the center hub. The wheel spins with an ease-out deceleration and stops with one number under the pointer.
  4. Read the number: The chosen number appears large in the result card. Click Copy to save it to your clipboard.
  5. Spin again: Click Spin Again for the next draw. Your drawn numbers are listed below so you can track what has come up.

Range Presets

  • 1–6: A dice-style spin for board games and quick rolls.
  • 1–10: The classic default for picking a number, rating, or quick draw.
  • 1–20: Handy for tabletop games and larger group picks.
  • 1–50: A wider draw for tickets, seats, or bingo-style rounds.
  • 1–100: A full hundred-number wheel for raffles, lotteries, and "pick a number" games.

How the Random Number Pick Works

  • Pre-selected winner: The winning number is chosen using Math.random() the moment you click Spin. The wheel then decelerates to land on that segment — the spin is visual, the outcome is already fair.
  • Equal probability: Every number in the range has an identical chance regardless of its position on the wheel. There are no weighted slots.
  • Draw without replacement: With No repeats on, each drawn number leaves the wheel, so a full range can be drawn end to end with no duplicates — ideal for lottery, bingo, and raffle draws.
  • Client-side only: All randomization and rendering happens in your browser. No data is sent to a server or stored anywhere.

What to Use a Number Wheel For

  • Classrooms: Spin to pick a page number, a problem, a group number, or a student number at random.
  • Raffles & giveaways: Assign entrants a number and spin to draw winners — use No repeats to draw several winners without duplicates.
  • Games & dice: Use the 1–6 preset as a spinning die, or any range for board games, trivia, and party games.
  • Lottery & bingo: Draw numbers one at a time without replacement for bingo rounds and lottery-style draws.
  • Decisions & picks:"Pick a number between 1 and 100" — settle guessing games and tie-breaks fairly.
  • Livestreams: Spin an on-screen number wheel to pick a random viewer, comment, or prize slot.

Features

  • Five range presets: 1–6, 1–10, 1–20, 1–50, and 1–100 in one tap.
  • Custom Min & Max: Set any range up to 100 numbers wide.

  • Animated SVG wheel: Every number shown as a segment with a smooth ease-out spin.

  • One-click copy: Copy the chosen number to your clipboard instantly.
  • Equal odds: Every number has an identical chance on every spin — provably fair.
  • Private & free: Runs entirely in your browser with no signup and no limits; nothing is stored or sent anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a random number wheel?

It is a free online tool that picks a random number from a range by spinning an animated wheel. Set a Min and Max or tap a preset, click Spin, and the wheel lands on one number at random with equal odds.

What number ranges can I use?

Five presets — 1–6, 1–10, 1–20, 1–50, and 1–100 — plus any custom Min and Max. The wheel holds up to 100 numbers at once.

Can I draw numbers without repeating them?

Yes. Turn on No repeats to draw without replacement — each number that comes up is removed, so you can draw the whole range with no duplicates, like a lottery or bingo draw. Click Draw again to reset.

Is the number pick truly random?

Yes. The winning number is chosen with Math.random() before the animation starts, so every number in the range has an equal probability on every spin. The spin is visual only — the outcome is already decided when you click Spin.

How is this different from a number generator?

A number generator instantly prints a value; the number wheel shows every number in your range as a segment and spins to one, which is more visual and fun — and it supports draw-without-replacement.

Does it store my data?

No. Everything runs in your browser. Your range and results are never sent to any server and are not stored anywhere, not even between sessions.

Is it free?

Yes — completely free with no account, no signup, and no limit on how many times you spin.
